A-C Valley Hometown Hero Project

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

Every year, from Memorial Day through Veterans Day, the faces of our local heroes line the streets of Emlenton and Parker. These banners are more than just fabric; they are a daily reminder of the sacrifices made by our neighbors, family members, and friends to protect of freedom.

The Challenge:

Time and the elements have taken a toll on our tribute. Currently, many of our 130 banners in Emlenton and 93 banners in Parker are in poor condition and desperately need to be replaced.

While we have been fortunate to receive support from the VFW and several local grants, these funds only cover a portion of the cost. To ensure every veteran is honored with the dignity they deserve, we need your help.

How Can You Help

The cost to replace a single high-quality, weather-resistant banner is $85. We are reaching out to Veteran’s families, local businesses, and anyone who shares our pride in the A-C Valley’s military history.

Our Goal:

To have every worn banner replaced and flying proudly in time for Memorial Day.
