Bortmas Celebrated Their 30th Wedding Anniversary

Kevin Bortmas and Karin Bortmas (nee Ostertag) of Emlenton, PA, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a vacation in Nashville, TN, and a private dinner.
They were married on November 24, 1995, at City Hall in Lauingen, Germany. They met while Kevin was stationed at Memmingen Air Force Base in Germany. They enjoy the outdoors, camping, kayaking, hiking, biking, and taking care of their animals and wildlife on their property.
Over the years, they opened their home to many rescued dogs and other animals in need of a loving home.
Kevin retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service. He continues his service to his country by working for DCSA in Boyers. Karin worked in Civil Service in Germany for the German Army and Police Department, and recently retired from the Office of Personnel Management -RIO- in Boyers/East Butler.
