Boston Tea Party Event Announcement

The Redbank Valley Historical Society and the Redbank Valley Public Library will be hosting a Boston Tea Party on Saturday, July 18, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Redbank Valley History Center, 301 Broad Street, New Bethlehem.

This year’s event theme celebrates America250, bringing history to life with costumed interpreters portraying colonists and British officials involved in the events leading up to the Boston Tea Party. Local community members will take on notable Revolutionary War roles, including Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.

This event is open to all ages. Guests will enjoy an enchanting menu of finger sandwiches, tea cookies, and a selection of fine teas. Revolutionary War displays will be available for viewing throughout the event.

A themed basket Chinese auction will offer attendees the chance to win great prizes.

Reservations are required, as space is limited. Cost: $30 per person.

Guests are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue for the occasion.
