Butler VA to Host Third Annual Veteran Appreciation Day on May 30

BUTLER, Pa. — The Butler VA Health Care System invites all Veterans, service members, their families, and caregivers to its third annual Veteran Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center, 353 North Duffy Road, Butler, PA 16001.
This year’s event honors America’s 250th birthday and the Veterans Health Administration’s 80th birthday. Attendees are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue attire. A large “Happy Birthday” poster will be available for everyone to sign. A special “Welcome Home” ceremony will also celebrate Desert Storm Veterans and their families.
The family-friendly event will feature: • Door prize drawings for Veterans and service members • Free food and food vendor options • Interactive activities, including fire truck exploration and fire-safety information • A classic Car Cruise • Live broadcast from 97.7FM The Rock • Information tables on VA programs including the PACT Act, Caregiver Support, Women Veterans Program, travel benefits, Creative Arts, and Whole Health • Opportunities to speak with staff from Veteran Benefits Administration and National Cemetery Administration
