Carol A. Snyder, age 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Williamson, Georgia.
She was born on December 24, 1949, in Eau Claire, Pennsylvania, to the late John W. Snyder and Cora M. (Stalker) Snyder.
She was a 1967 graduate of Moniteau High School. After graduation, Carol moved to California for several years before moving to Fort Myers, Florida, in 1978. Carol worked for Walmart, making many friends who quickly became family, and retired after 30 years of service.
Carol truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: crocheting, quilting, playing cards, being a trial butterfly farmer, chatting with friends and family, baking, and traveling to Georgia to visit her niece, Brandy Polhemus (Warren), and her great-nephew Gavin Van Ostran. Carol and Gavin shared a bond like no other. Carol attended The Connection Church in Cape Coral, Florida, and was a proud member of the SW Florida Quilters Guild.
Carol is survived by her three sisters: Barbara E. Kellerman of Eau Claire, Pennsylvania, Mary A. O’Donnell of Marietta, Georgia, and Marilyn J. Druzisky (David) of Cape Coral, Florida, her brother Frederick J. Snyder (Patti) of Cape Coral, Florida, as well as many loved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Robert L. Snyder, David M. Snyder, and Larry P. Snyder, and her sister Phyllis E. Tinker.
Celebration of life for Carol A. Snyder will be announced at a later date.
