Central Electric Cooperative Announces 2026 Scholarship Winners

PARKER, Pa., May 11, 2026 - Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) is proud to announce its 2026 Good Neighbor Scholarship winners. Selection was based on each candidate’s merit for non-paid service to the community and school. Ten students of cooperative members will each receive a $3,000 scholarship to further their education in the 2026/2027 school year.

The 2026 Good Neighbor Scholarship winners include: Alivya Hartzell of Penn State University; Landon Baker of Cranberry High School; Ryleigh Dittman of Keystone High School; Elisabeth Rettig of Knoch High School; Jiselle Vinroe of Slippery Rock Area High School; Denver Ott of Butler County Community College; Rylan Strauser of Slippery Rock University; Samantha Cornell of University of Miami; Jacob Henry of Keystone High School; and Adeline Crawford of Redbank Valley High School.

Good Neighbor Scholarship Program funding comes from unclaimed capital credits and does not affect member rates.

 CEC would like to remind members that scholarship opportunities are available to all age groups who wish to further their education.
