Christine Ann Williams Schweinsberg, 71, of Butler, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, while in the presence of her loved ones at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Christine was born in Franklin on May 11, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Nolan Williams.
She lived in the Chicora and Butler area throughout her life. She was a licensed cosmetologist and had been employed by Penn Champ in East Butler until it closed. Christine looked forward to the family “get-togethers” where she was first to arrive and always managed to leave as soon as the party got started. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her; "our wife and mother can never be replaced, and we cherish the wonderful memories she leaves behind." To honor Christine's memory, her family requests you take time out of your busy life to tell family and friends how much you love them.
Christine is survived by her loving husband, Mark Schweinsberg. She and Mark loved traveling, good food and drink, and most especially the time they spent with "the girls". In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Bill Northime, Jr. and Gary Northime and his wife Kim, all of Chicora; three siblings, Martha Lea, Joan, and David and his wife Jodi; three granddaughters: Ashlyn and her husband, Mike, Alexandra and her husband, Cameron, and Ireland all of Chicora. Christine was looking forward to the birth of her first great-grandchild soon. Also, surviving is her niece, Sierra as well as a number of other nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; her sons’ father, and former husband, Bill Northime as well as her former husband, Darrell Keihl.
In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her sister, Rita.
A private visitation and funeral service outside of Mass was held at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora with the Rev. Matt McClain, pastor of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, officiating.
