Darlene M. Harbison, 59, of Frazer Twp. passed away on September 11, 2022 and was recently found, on December 5, 2022.
Born June 25, 1963, in Butler, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Charlotte C. (Convery) Ruediger.
Darlene was a talented chef who was most recently employed by The Meadows at Stonebrook in Wexford.
Darlene loved outdoor adventures, fishing, kayaking, motorcycle riding, and camping. She devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, and family. Darlene was a caring, funny, soul who will be greatly missed by all.
The Harbison family is tremendously thankful for the support and care showed to them.
She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer and husband Dennis Harbison of East Brady, Danielle and husband Travis Schonauer of Medina, OH, and her mother, Charlotte Ruediger of Herman.
Darlene was “Grammy” to her four grandchildren, Fallon Harbison, Brady Harbison, Kennedy Harbison, and Grier Schonauer.
She is also survived by one sister, Elizabeth (Rick) Hoffman of Herman, two brothers, Robert Ruediger of Alamogordo, NM, Gerald (Stephanie) Ruediger of Converse, TX, and a large extended family.
Darlene was preceded in death by her father.
A Memorial Mass for Darlene M. Harbison will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 12, 2022, at St. Marys of the Assumption Church (821 Herman Road, Butler, PA 16002) with Rev. Ward Stakem, celebrating.
Her burial will be private.
Arrangements are under the direction of Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., East Brady.
