Dean Raymond Corbett


Dean Raymond Corbett, 76, originally from Eau Claire, passed away on Monday due to natural causes at the Grove Nursing Home in Harmony.

He was born on June 24, 1947, to the late Brown and Myrtle Irene Corbett.

Dean was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins. He also enjoyed watching stock car races, building model cars, John Deere tractors, Penn State football, pet dogs, and Special Olympic bowling.

Dean is survived by his sister, Joyce, and her husband, John Brosnahan Jr. of Emlenton. A Sister in law, Judy Corbett. He also leaves behind his nieces Holly Brosnahan, Sheila Huneycutt, Susan (Michael) Hopf, and Jessica Hazercock, as well as his nephew Christopher (Auntouch) Linker and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald "Jerry" Corbett, and his infant sister, Ann Etta.

Instead of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Eau Claire Presbyterian Church or Special Olympics.

Friends will be received at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Eau Claire (201 S. Washington St.) on Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 1-4 pm. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 4 pm. The interment will be the following day in the Eau Claire Cemetery.
