Debra Ann Unverzagt

Debra Ann Unverzagt, 71, of Knox, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh following a brief illness.

Born February 23, 1955, in Brookville, Debra was the daughter of Ann McCleary and the late Eugene McCleary.

Debra graduated from Keystone High School. Over the years, she worked as a cook at the Carriage Inn and BJ’s Eatery. She also worked at Sharp Shopper and Riverside.

On September 2, 1989, Debra married Sidney Unverzagt, who preceded her in death in 2021.

Debra enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching cooking shows, and loved to watch her grandsons race. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and going to the Carriage Inn on Sunday mornings for breakfast.

Along with her mother, Debra is survived by her children Randy “Boe” Myers and his wife Angel of Michael, IL, Mindy Myers of New Castle, and Sidney Unverzagt and his wife Tara of Emlenton; her grandchildren Randie Myers, Alex Myers, Sasha Myers, Preston McCoy, Nadia Rhoads, Owen Unverzagt and Landon Unverzagt; her great grandchildren Spencer Dotterer, Everlyn Dotterer, Adeline McCoy and Delaney O’Donnell.  Also surviving are Debra’s siblings, Eugene McCleary of Knox and Patty Motter of Venus.

Debra was preceded in death by her father Eugene McCleary, a son Robbie Myers,

and a grandchild, Lacey Myers.

A memorial service for Debra will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to the Clarion Sunshine Project, PO Box 303, Clarion, PA 16214.
