East Brady 2024 Cookie Crawl and Light-up Night







2023 Light Up Night carolers bring the sounds of

Christmas to the town!

 

The Annual East Brady Cookie Crawl and Light-Up Night will be held on Saturday, December 7 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Activities include:

· Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence, 421 Kelly’s Way - crafters, rummage sale and sale of ICE JAM jam and luminaria kits. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

· Methodist Church Property, 416 Kelly’s Way - Munchie Man food truck. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

· Mortimer’s Music and Antiques, 304 Third St. - open house. 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

· Bridgeview Crossing, 311 Water St. - vendors, crafters, food, and drink sales, bonfire. 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

· Arnold Beabout Community Center Open House, 502 Ferry Street- check out the many businesses in the community center and the gymnasium and locker room that are available to rent. 1 p.m. 4 p.m.

· Cookie Crawl, multiple locations around town and in the community center. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. $8.00 cookie passports are presale are available at the borough office and at the Old Bank Deli. Cookie Crawl locations are: East Brady Public Library, First Presbyterian Church, St. Eusebius Catholic Church, Farmer’s National Bank, St. Cloud Bar & Restaurant, Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence, Zion Church, Uni Mart, All Stars Bar & Restaurant, Old Bank Deli, Bridgeview Crossing, Threads of Hope, Beham’s Massage, Spotlight Dance Academy, Cat Tales Resale, River Riders Rentals, Sugar Coma Sweets.

· Arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Veteran’s Park at the corner of Kelly’s Way and First St. escorted by the East Brady Fire Company volunteers. 4 p.m.

· Farmer’s National Bank Parking Lot and Veterans Park at Kelly’s Way and First St. - complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and popcorn, holiday music, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus with treat bags sponsored by East Brady Baptist Church. 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.

· Veterans Memorial Park, corner of Kelly’s Way and First St. - The highlight of the day will be the Light-Up festivities starting at 5 p.m. with a greeting from the EBADC Vice- President and a welcome from the East Brady Borough Council President, followed by the invocation by the East Brady Mayor. Local deceased veteran Joe Kusick will be recognized by the American Legion. Christmas carolers from Mother Goose Christian Preschool and several local soloists will entertain as NEW holiday decor is lit.

A 50/50 raffle will be offered to benefit the East Brady Area Development Corporation projects with tickets on sale at Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence and at the Light-Up Night festivities.

Luminary kits for our 4th annual luminaria display will be available for sale for $10.00 at Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence on December 7th. Kits will also be sold at the borough office weekdays.

While in town stop for lunch or a refreshment at one of our downtown restaurants: Plaza Pantry, Old Bank Deli, All Stars and St. Cloud.

2024 East Brady holiday events are co-sponsored by the East Brady Area Development Corporation and East Brady Borough.
