East Brady Area 2023 We Believe Light Up Night


Light-Up Night 2022 Mother Goose Preschool carolers!

 

The Annual East Brady Area We Believe Light-Up Night will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Activities include:

· Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence, 421 Kelly’s Way - crafters, sales of ICE JAM Jam and Munchies Man food truck from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

· East Brady United Methodist Church, 418 Kelly’s Way - crafters, soup, and sandwich lunch from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

· Mortimer’s Music and Antiques, 304 Third St. - open house 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

· Bridgeview Crossing, 311 Water St. – vendors, crafters, food, and drink sales, bonfire from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

· Cookie Crawl, multiple locations around town, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. $7.00 cookie passports are pre-sale and available at the borough office weekdays starting November 17 or at The Old Bank Deli and The Farmer’s National Bank during business hours. Passport sales end November 29. Participating businesses and churches are: River Riders Rentals, George’s Coin-Op Laundromat, Uni-Mart, Old Bank Deli, East Brady Public Library, Farmer’s National Bank, Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence, All Stars Bar and Grill, St. Cloud Bar Hotel Restaurant, Nelson’s Hardware, Bridgeview Crossing, East Brady Baptist Church, St. Eusebius Catholic Church, and East Brady First Presbyterian Church.

· Arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Veteran’s Park at the corner of Kelly’s Way and First St. escorted by the East Brady Fire Company volunteers - 4 p.m.

· Farmer’s National Bank Parking Lot and Veterans Park at Kelly’s Way and First St. - coffee, hot chocolate, and popcorn, DJ holiday music, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and treat bags for the children from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.

· Veterans Memorial Park, corner of Kelly’s Way and First St. - The highlight of the day will be the Light-Up festivities starting at 5 p.m. with a greeting from the EBADC Acting President and a welcome from the East Brady Borough Council President, followed by the invocation by the East Brady Mayor. Local deceased veteran Al Gilmore will be recognized by the American Legion. Christmas carolers from Mother Goose Christian Preschool and several local soloists will entertain as holiday trees and candles are lit.

A 50/50 raffle will be offered to benefit the East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC) projects with tickets on sale at Allegheny Hills Retirement Residence and at the Light-Up Night festivities.

Luminary kits will be available for sale for $10.00 at the concession stand for our 3rd annual luminary display on Christmas Eve. Kits will also be sold at the borough office weekdays which started November 17th.

2023 East Brady holiday events are co-sponsored by the East Brady Area Development Corporation and East Brady Borough.
