East Brady Area Development Corporation (EBADC) Wraps Up 2025

2025 has been a busy and productive year for EBADC.
The organization continues to be involved in Main Street planning, spearheaded by the Clarion County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC). Members have attended several focus meetings to provide input and to see how this statewide program can assist in business district improvements. It is hoped that grant monies will be awarded for façade improvements in the next round of the CCEDC grants.
The East Brady Area brochure was updated, and hard copies were printed and distributed in the spring of 2025. EBADC was fortunate to receive a Clarion County hotel tax grant to cover the printing costs, and Clarion Printing donated services as a grant match. The Tourism Bureau posted the brochure on its website and helped with distribution outside of the county.
Once again, the Beautification award program was promoted. Winners were chosen by impartial judges and are now lifetime members of the organization.
The 2025 project was to provide business directories for the community center and directional signage from Kelly’s Way. These signs are in the works, and installation should occur soon.
EBADC continues to host and sponsor The Great American Clean Up of East Brady each April, Attics and Cellars Days in May, Ice Jam-Jam sales, and the Cookie Crawl and Light-Up Night activities. Ongoing work includes beautification efforts with plantings and planters in town, maintenance of the Fuhrer Bridge Parklet and the Armstrong Trail trail head, artist window displays, and provision of gift bags for new businesses.
EBADC regularly partners with East Brady Borough, Clarion County probation, and other local organizations, businesses, and church groups to help and build a strong sense of community.
The organization and community volunteers have logged 655 hours in 2025.
