Eric T. Skibinski, 58, of Emlenton, Allegheny Twp., Butler County, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family, early Monday morning, September 7, 2026.

Eric was born in Warren on June 27, 1968. He was the son of the late Patrick M. and Joanne L. Taft Skibinski.

He was a 1986 graduate of East Forest High School in Marienville. Eric served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm and earned the rank of Sgt. Eric was a skilled diesel mechanic and had been employed for more than 20 years at Kenworth of Pennsylvania in Clintonville. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading, the company of his faithful companion, “Odin,” and most especially looked forward to spending time with his family.

Eric is survived by his wife, Connie J. Caldwell Skibinski, whom he married in Marienville on June 18, 2016. Also surviving are five children, Ashlee M. Skibinski and her spouse, Blake, of Somerset, OH, Logan T. Skibinski (Ava) of Emlenton, Kelsi M. Skibinski of Emlenton, Zachary E. Miller and his wife, Kristen, of Palm Harbor, FL, and Carlee J. Erosensko of Parker. Eric is also survived by five grandchildren, whom he adored, Olivia, Sophia, Lucy, Bryson, and Brogan; a sister, Leslie L. Skibinski of Odessa, NY.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hile Funeral Home Inc., Emlenton.

A celebration of life service and interment with military honors at North Forest Cemetery in Marienville will be announced at a later date.
