Foxburg Country Club 2026 Club Championship
On the heels of his twelve stroke win in the PIAA District IX Championship, Joe Rapp claimed the title of 2026 Club Champion at Foxburg Country Club. Joe defeated two time defending champion Logan Pistorius in the 27-hole match play final.
After a back and forth front nine Joe birdied the tough 12th hole to take a lead that he never relinquished on his way to a 5 and 4 victory. It was Joe’s first Club Championship at Foxburg.
Both players survived some anxious moments on their way to the finals of the season-long tournament. Highlighted in Joe’s quest was a quarterfinal win over past champion Bill Strauser that required a two hole sudden death playoff. Logan reached the finals by winning the last hole in his 1-up semifinal triumph over the always consistent Andy Ganoe.
As the rainy 2026 season draws to a close, everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy fall golf at Foxburg.
