George F. “Toby” McGinnis, 79, of Kearneysville, WV, formerly of Foxburg, passed away Monday evening, July 27, 2026, at Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV.
George was born in Karns City on November 22, 1946. He was the son of the late George B. and Vada G. Trisko McGinnis.
Toby graduated from Fairview Township Karns City High School and was of the Methodist Faith. While living in Pennsylvania, he was employed by Witco Chemical, now Sonneborn, and Forta Corporation.
Toby is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy Atkinson McGinnis; four daughters: Debi (Shawn) Bell, Bonnie (Dan) Fisher, Stacie (Patrick) Bunn, and Patti Deal; two sons: George Cypher and Gregory J. McGinnis; a sister, Georgie (Tom) Nolan; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of Eackles – Spencer and Norton Funeral Home in Harpers Ferry, WV.
