The Clintonville Borough Sewer and Water Authority have been mandated by DEP under Act 537 to replace the Wastewater treatment plant.

It was built in 1970 and placed into operation around 1972.

The plant provides municipal sewer to approximately 200 homes.

PALO Construction from Clarion has been awarded the bid for the replacement at the site on Porter Road, just off Route 208 East of the main intersection in Clintonville Borough.
