H. Jack Buzard, 80, of Eau Claire, PA, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family, as he would want, on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Jack was born in West Monterey (Clarion County) on July 12, 1945, and was the son of the late Lewis and Treva Logan Buzard.

He graduated from Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in 1963. He earned a degree from the former Clarion State College in 1967 and later attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.

Jack was a proud United States Army veteran. He served in Da Nang, Vietnam, with GR/MA from 1970 to 1971.

For over fifty years, he was devoted to his communities. Jack was a dedicated member of Rotary International (PACSO) and served as commander of VFW Post 7073. He frequently spoke at community events, including commencements, dedications, fundraisers, sportsman nights, memorials, and many Veterans and Church programs.

Jack was a proud member of Park Hill First Church of God in Parker. His faith guided and comforted him.

He enjoyed NASCAR races and golfing. He liked being with people and helping when needed. He also enjoyed sitting outside, reading the paper with coffee, and all things aviation. He attended many air shows and even flew in a Ford Tri-Motor. Despite his achievements, Jack's favorite place was home.
