Happy 96th Birthday, Jack!

Jack Ritchey of Emlenton celebrated Easter and an early 96th birthday celebration with Family. Happy Birthday!

Jack is the son of Pittsburgh Pirate 2nd baseman, Claude Ritchey, who played for the Pirates in the early 1900s.

Over 13 seasons and 1,672 games, Claude Ritchey maintained a .273 batting average, with 709 runs, 216 doubles, 68 triples, 18 home runs, 675 RBI, 155 stolen bases, 607 walks and .952 fielding percentage.

With the Pirates, Ritchey, captured three pennants and two runner-up finishes from 1901 to 1907.
