Hero’s Angels Volunteers gathered for a group photo before the start of their 9th annual fundraiser, “Hero’s Angels Holiday for Heroes,” which was held on November 9th at the Petrolia VFD Social Hall.

Hero’s Angels would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, donors, and all those who came out to support Hero’s Angels' efforts in raising money to provide care packages to Veterans and Troops. Veterans who attended the event and registered at the Veterans table received a free meal, event apparel, Yeti limited edition cup, an embroidered blanket, a flag (while supplies lasted), and a chance at winning cash drawings. There were special appearances from Santa and the Grinch - support shown from the community made the Grinch’s heart grow three sizes. Hero’s Angels hosted a canned food drive for Veterans (Veterans residing in Butler County can call 724-766-9029 for assistance).

Sponsors made it possible for Hero’s Angels to host this event, attend Butler County Stand Down to give out event apparel to Veterans, and donate small kitchen appliances to Butler County Veterans in Need (Veterans residing in Butler County can contact Roy at 724-290-9204 for assistance).

Sponsorship opportunities for next year’s event range from $25 - $1,000. Please email herosangels@zoominternet.net for information.
