Highlights from the A-CV Junior High and Senior High Awards Assembly

Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the High School Auditorium
The annual awards assembly was held at the A-C Valley High School Auditorium in Foxburg, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Members of the Junior Class in the Student Council, Nichole Wingard and Madilyn Myers, were the Masters of ceremonies, and started the program off with a welcome and comments. The program then proceeded with the award presentations, as highlighted in the photos on this page.

The DAR Good Citizenship award winner was Alivya Hartzell,
presented by Ms. Marlene Steiner.

AmeriCorp Participants Presenters Mrs. Tami Stevenson and Mrs. Nancy Ambrose.
Participants were: Jadyn Courson, Payton Duffee, SkyAnn Mohn,
Ella Myers, Bailey Pentz, and Ava Snyder

PennWest Clarion University Scholarship Awards were presented by Merrilyn Dunlap. Award winners were Payton Duffee, Abigail McFadden, Ella Myers, Ava Snyder.

Mark Rummel Memorial $1,000 Scholarship presented
by Lisa Ferringer & Andrea Baker to Ava Snyder.

Good Citizenship Awards presented by Senator Scott Hutchinson
to Andrew Stevenson and Cora Weigle.

Emlenton Civic Club Scholarships were presented by Mrs. Linda Miller
Winners: Cora Weigle, Alivya Hartzell, Baylie Wingard, Ava Snyder.

Jacob Rhoades Foundation Scholarship
presented by Cindy Morgan to Baylie Wingard.

Dr. David McDeavitt, presented the Saint John’s Scholarships to:
Ava Snyder, Alivya Hartzell, and Cora Weigle.

Teresa and Richard Helmintoller Scholarship Winner: Cora Weigle Presented by Dr. David McDeavitt. Cora was also awarded the PARSS Scholarship & GIVE Club Award.

Mrs. Minnie Logue, presented the Military Enlistment Certificate to Caleb Burk.
Other awards presented include the Civics awards; Senior Art Awards, KSAC All Conference and Athletic Scholarship Awards; Principals List, Honor Roll, perfect attendance, Spanish Awards, PBIS Senior Awards, BOCCE Pin Awards, Lillian Heck Scholarship; Glenn Karnes Memorial Scholarship, and the Robert Wingard Memorial Scholarship.
Congratulations to all the students for their hard work in the 2024/25 school year.
