Ring In the Holidays and bring your family to kick off your Thanksgiving feasting on Sunday, November 23 with the gorgeous vocals and Broadway-quality choreographed entertainment of internationally touring YouTube Stars, BACKTRACK VOCALS, in Lincoln Hall at 2 PM – back by popular demand after dazzling their standing-ovation audience in Lincoln Hall and Allegheny-Clarion Valley students and teachers in ARCA’s Educational ArtReach program.
A-C Valley Elementary Principal, Lori Marron Sherman, said that of all the entertaining programs and “out of the box” interactive music education experiences that ARCA had brought to inspire their students, “Backtrack Vocals was the BEST! Their energy was contagious, and the students were enthralled by their performances and Dr. Brick’s beatboxing.”
This NYC-based a cappella group and singers are YouTube Stars – with 14 million YouTube views and over 115,000 subscribers. Their voices are spectacular – their musical arrangements superb – and their music video productions among the best anywhere on the internet. They’ve appeared on NBC, FOX, PBS, HBO’s PAUSE with Sam Jay, and STEVE! with Steve Harvey. Most recently, in May 2025, they were featured on NBC performing at the Apollo Theater in a Joan Rivers tribute, opening the show singing alongside Tiffany Haddish.
Infusing heart, humor and choreographic pizazz, their Lincoln Hall show will span musical generations with something for everyone… including arrangements of holiday favorites from their Christmas album and popular YouTube Christmas videos.
Their vast repertoire ranges from the Great American Song Book, movies, Motown, funk, country, classical and original music to Top 40 hits and artists from the Beatles and Billy Joel to Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. Music from Broadway musicals includes a recent release from the WICKED movie as well as “Ghostbusters” for Halloween – in a cappella, all-new vocal (and beatbox) arrangements.
If you have loved close vocal harmony no matter the era – Pentatonix, TAKE 6 or traditional barber shop quartet – you will love this concert and be amazed by their award-winning beat boxer Michael Crisol – “Dr Beat” – who wowed the Lincoln Hall audience and A-C Valley students and teachers.
Be cheered and entertained by their versatile repertoire – as you laugh and sing along to the purity of their close vocal harmony, rocking boom-boxing, festive choreography, contagious joy and audience engagement.
