Holiday for Heroes 9th Annual Fundraiser Dinner

Hero’s Angels of Chicora which helps support local veterans and military serving abroad, will host the 9th Annual Holiday for Heroes event at the Petrolia Social Hall (200 Argyle Street) on Sunday, November 9th.

The event will held from Noon to 5 pm with the opening ceremony beginning at 12:00 pm. Doors will open at 11:30 pm.

*Veterans at the event will receive a free meal (sponsored by Randy & Bob’s Auto Body) event apparel & more while supplies last.

A veterans cash drawing will be held every hour from 2:00pm to 5:00pm with three winners pulled every hour. The 2:00 pm drawing will be $100; 3pm drawing will be $200; 4:00pm drawing will be $300 and the 5:00pm drawing will be for $400. Hourly winners must be present and show ID at time of the drawing to claim the prize. Tickets will be rentered into the drawing (if winner is present).

*Proof of service is required.

The dinner will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw and a roll for $17.00. Take outs will be available.

As in the past, the day will include an American Auction, 50/50 raffles and more.

A special appearance will be made by the Grinch and Santa Claus from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm.

Gary Burk III will perform from 2:30pm to 4:00 pm.
