A Scrubgrass Grange Program
A free informational program about home canning and food preservation will be held at Scrubgrass Grange, on Tuesday, July 19th at 7:00 pm. In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in home food preservation. Canning, freezing and drying are preservation methods that allow you to enjoy seasonal foods all year long.
The program will be presented by Richard Kralj, R.D., Penn State University. The Home Food Preservation program will provide you with the scientific background, preparation tips, and safe food processing methods to preserve food at home.
Programs are held at the Scrubgrass Grange Hall, 5104-Emlenton Clintonville Rd., Emlenton, PA 16373 at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
