To me you were
someone special,
And I miss you
more each day.
The saddest day of my life,
Was the day
you passed away.
You left a treasured memory
And sorrow too
great to be told.
But to me who loved
and lost you,
Your memory
will never grow old.
My heart still aches
with sadness,
My eyes shed many tears.
God knows how much
I miss you,
As I begin another year.
