James D. Olsen

James D. Olsen, 95, of Gibsonia, passed away early Monday morning, September 21, 2026, at St. Barnabas Nursing Home.

Born in Rapid City, South Dakota, he was the son of the late George and Dorothy Rausch Olsen.

James served with the USAF's 109th Airlift Wing. Later, he graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Glaxo-Smith-Kline.

James is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Craig Olsen, and his stepdaughter, Susan Redlich.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half-sister.

Per his wishes, there will be no services. Interment will take place in Callensburg Cemetery.
