Jeffrey W. Carr, a long-time resident of Emlenton, PA passed away on April 12, 2023, at home in The Woodlands, TX surrounded by his family after battling cancer since 2018.
He was the son of the late Wayne and Frances Carr.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sue Lentz Carr and his beloved daughter Karey Carr both of The Woodlands, TX.
He is also survived by his sister Sharon Courson and brother Todd Carr (LeeAnne), both of Emlenton, PA.
Jeff graduated from A-C Valley High School in 1968 and attended Butler Community College. He was a lover of all sports with golf being his favorite pastime. He was a long-time member of the Foxburg Country Club, where he was Club Champion 11 times and served on the Board for several years. He was also Sr. Club Champion at the Wanango County Club twice. Jeff also enjoyed woodworking. Jeff had a very big heart and was loyal to his family and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held this summer in Pennsylvania. Jeff has requested that memorials be sent in the form of tax-deductible donations to the Foxburg Golf Preservation Inc. C/O The 1887 Project, PO Box 326 Foxburg, PA 16036.
He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews, family, and friends who have become family.
