John M. Walter, 60, of Clintonville, passed away April 22, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
John was born on August 2, 1965, in Grove City. He was the son of the late Wayne and Erla (Shaw) Walter.
John had previously worked in local oil leases and also for Trinity Rail Cars in Butler. He loved to fish and hunt, but most of all seeing his grandchildren.
Loved ones to cherish his memory are his son Cody Walter and his wife Tasha, his daughter Cheyenne Savage and her husband Adam, his grandchildren Hayleigh, Cyerria, Colton, and Jaxson Walter, and Owen, Noah, and Emma Savage. His brothers, Gary Shaw and his wife Sharon, and Tom Walter, his wife Cheri, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Sam.
Per John's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
The Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home in Clintonville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
