Breakfast Served for Chicora Area Veterans
The Chicora Moose and the Chicora American Legion Post 642 are teaming up and offering a free breakfast for all Chicora area Veterans, on Veterans Day, Nov. 11th.
The breakfast will be held at the Chicora Moose Lodge at 117 West Slippery Rock St. in Chicora.
They will be serving from 9:00 a.m. until finished. All Chicora area Veterans are invited to attend.
Karns City Area Elementary School To Honor Local Veterans
Karns City Area Elementary School is honoring our local veterans with a patriotic assembly on Thursday, November 6, at 9:30 A.M. Veterans will enjoy coffee and donuts prior to the assembly. All grade levels from Kindergarten to Sixth Grade will be performing songs/poems for the veterans during the assembly.
Meals for Veterans at the Beer Garden on Veterans Day
Area Veterans will be offered a free meal at the Beer Garden on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. They will be serving meals between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. (ID Required)
The meals are sponsored by Hero’s Angels and the Beer Garden.
The Beer Garden is located at 2399 Oneida Valley Rd, Petrolia, PA 16050,(On Rt. 38 south of Butler, North of Emlenton.)
ACV Veterans Day Assembly
A-C Valley High School, Foxburg, will be having a Veterans Day Assembly on Nov. 11th at 10 AM. Local Veterans are invited to join for breakfast at 9:00 AM and the Assembly which begins at 11:00 AM. Please RSVP by Nov. 6th by calling 724-659-4661 ext. 3102. This is not open to the public but the event will be Live Streamed on the A-C Valley website.
