Kim Ann Myers, 69, of West Freedom, passed away peacefully with her husband and daughter holding her hands on July 19, 2025.
Born April 13, 1956, Kim was the daughter of James and Rebecca (Craig) Harkless. Kim graduated from Keystone High School in 1974 and was a golden girl with the marching band and homecoming queen.
As an adult, she played piano at her church every Sunday morning, sang in a gospel music group for a time, attended modeling school, and was a participant in the Mrs. Pennsylvania pageant. She was just as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Her greatest accomplishments in life would be her beautiful 50-year marriage and raising her daughter.
Her loving husband, Daniel R. Myers, and her daughter, Charity Dawn (Myers) Winberg, survive.
She married Dan, the love of her life, on May 2, 1975, in Callensburg, PA. They very recently were able to celebrate their 50 years of marriage with a party full of family and friends, as well as a cruise to Bermuda and the Bahamas.
She is also survived by her son-in-law, Thomas Winberg, and grandsons Noah Daniel, Zachary Carl, and Caleb Thomas. Also surviving are her sister Jane Reed and her brother Craig Harkless. Aunts: Jackie Meier and Sally Hosey. Sisters-in-law: Kathy (Scott) Hepner and Peg (Gayle) Elliott, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She has been blessed with a large extended family and some very close friends who love her very much.
Kim was preceded in death by her parents James and Rebecca (Craig) Harkless, her mother and father-in-law: Richard and Lillian Myers, a nephew, Ryan Heeter, brothers in law: Blake R. Reed III., Steven J. Myers and sister in law, Rita Myers.
