Kimberlie M. “Kim” Saeler, 67, of Chicora, passed away peacefully while in the company of her family late Thursday evening, January 22, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital. 

Kimberlie was born in Butler on April 21, 1958.  She was the daughter of the late Donald L. “Mac” and Maree Marlene “Squirt” Ellenberger Lowers.

She was a 1976 graduate of Karns City Area High School and had been employed at Friedman’s in Chicora, Riverside in East Brady, Giant Eagle in Butler, the James Austin Company in Mars, Penn United Technologies in Cabot, and Bobbie Brooks.  She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler and was a life member of the Chicora Moose Lodge. Kim enjoyed visiting amusement parks, card games, going for rides, and most especially the company of her grandkids. 

Kim is survived by her husband, David J. Saeler, whom she married at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Butler on May 4, 1979. Also surviving is a daughter, Tiffany M. McNany and her husband, Matthew; two grandchildren, Mason M. and Mackenzie M. McNany, all of Chicora; two sisters, Deborah D. Fleeger and Leah D. Andreassi and her husband, Michael, all of Karns City, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Angela L. Merchant, and two brothers-in-law, Jerry Merchant and Richard Fleeger. 

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Rd., Chicora, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 27. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 noon on Wednesday at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora with Rev. Alan Morris, Senior Parochial Vicar of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, officiating.  Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia.

The Women of the Moose will conduct a memorial service for their departed sister at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
