Knox Lions Student of the Month

The Knox Lions Club held a regular meeting on February 23, 2021 where the February 2021 student of the month was recognized for his accomplishment. The February 2021 student of the month is Caleb Thompson, a Keystone Jr/Sr High School Senior, in which he was presented with a Certificate of Achievement and a Silver Eagle Coin by Lion Bill Black.
Caleb was selected for this recognition by his school for his accomplishments inside the classroom and his involvement in the community. Caleb is involved in a number of school clubs including, Envirothon, Trap Shooting, Fellowship of Christian Students, DnD Club. In addition to that, he also has participated in Cross Country, as well as Track and Field. He is also musically involved at Keystone, participating in Marching and Concert band, as well as competing at the District level for band. Through the choral program at Keystone, he participates in Concert Choir, Select Ensemble and Keystone’s Musicals each year. He has also competed at the District and Regional levels for choir as well. Upon graduation, Caleb intends to earn a degree in Environmental Biology, with a focus on Microbiology, from Clarion University, which he is well on his way to, given that he will have already completed 30 college credits by the time he begins as a Freshman in the Fall. In terms of community involvement, Caleb participates in VBS Camp, local youth missions, and is a member of his church’s Praise and Worship Team. Caleb is the son of Benjamin and Carrie Thompson.
