Larry Farrington, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loving family.
Born to Robert and Virginia Wise Farrington, Larry was a cherished member of his community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Larry was originally from Foxburg, currently of Bonita Springs, FL.
Throughout his life, Larry served his country with honor in the Army and contributed to his community through his work at Hillcrest Dairy and Beatty’s Auto. He was known for his dedication, hard work, and kindness to all those around him. In his leisure time, Larry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with his beloved "girls" and grandchildren. He had a passion for golfing and cherished the moments spent on the course with friends and family. Larry will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters Christine Farrington, Janette Hensler (Jeff), Allison Alverez (Dean Paonessa), and, and his grandchildren Tanner McCall, Carter McCall (MegLaryhan), Peyton McCall, Daniel Alverez, Meghan Flinn, Schuyler Hensler, and Lucas Hensler. He is also survived by his brother Richard Farrington (Robin), his niece Virginia Bowser (Gary), and his nephew Jamie Farrington (Melinda), John Gilger, Elizabeth Gilger, Jane (Chris) Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ann (Breene) Farrington.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held at a later date this summer and will be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Foxburg Country Club or the Foxburg Free Library.
