LaVonne Shively Jack, 89, of Orchard Manor, Grove City, formerly of Butler passed away early Friday morning, January 21, 2022, in Grove City following a period of declining health.
Born in Butler County, Pa. on July 30, 1932, she was the daughter of the late George Leslie and Fannie Jane Kriebel Shively.
She was married on June 22, 1951, to James Paul “Jim” Jack who passed away on August 23, 2011.
LaVonne was a lifelong member of the now Evangelical Presbyterian Church at Fairview.
She had been a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She enjoyed cooking and completing crossword puzzles.
Surviving are brother Jeff (Pam) Shively, sister Hilda (John) Christie, grandson and wife Nick and Amanda Graham of Slippery Rock; two sisters: Mary Shively of Butler and Hilda Christie of West Palm Beach, FL.; three brothers: Leslie Shively of Grove City; Neil Shively of Butler; and Jeff Shively of Karns City; also survived by number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother Ray Shively.
Private family visitation and service will be held Friday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wash. St. in Eau Claire. LaVonne will then be laid to rest with her late husband at Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia.
