Water/Sewer Department Worker

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working on the township water and sewer crew and for the overall maintenance and repair of the township water and sewer systems. The ideal individual must: possess a valid PA driver’s license (CDL is preferred), be able to follow written and oral directions, possess routine knowledge of vehicle and equipment operation methods, be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time, be able to drive and/or operate vehicles and equipment for an extended period of time, be able to operate the Township’s small tools and equipment. Examples of typical daily work may include:

manual labor, operate township heavy equipment and vehicles, repair broken or deficient underground pipes, daily maintenance of township water and sewer facilities. Possession of a current D.E.P. water license is also preferred, or which must be obtained within 1 year of employment at the township’s expense.
