Request for Bids
The Township of Venango, 332 Eau Claire Road, Boyers, PA 16020 will receive sealed proposals from pre-qualified bidders until 7:00 PM, April 7, 2026 for the following: 700 Tons (more or less) various sizes of road aggregate (# 67, # 57, # 8, # 3, # 2RC, # 2A), 100 Tons (more or less) Sand, Various sizes of culvert piping ( 12”, 15”, 18”, 24”, 36”, 48”, Collars, Plain end smooth wall), Complete turnkey operation for tar and chip (provide oil, stone, labor and equipment) delivered and applied as directed to various township roads, 20,000 Gallons (more or less) MC-70, AEP, E-1, E-3 prime and/or 10,000 Gallons (more or less) HFMS2ST delivered and applied as directed. All items to be bid “at delivered as directed” price.
Proposals must be on forms furnished by the Township and can be obtained at the Township Office during public hours, or by calling 724-791-2794. All proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Venango Township. Venango reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of bids and to award the contract in the best interest of the Municipality. Envelopes must be clearly marked “Bid Proposals for Letting On April 7, 2026.”
