Notice: Sealed Proposals - Ashland Township

Sealed Proposals will be received by the Ashland Township, 2nd Class of Clarion County at P.O. Box 3, Kossuth, PA 16331 until 4:30 PM on June 8, 2026, for the following: 1,595 Ton Asphalt Binder Course, 19.0mm In Place; 1,526 Ton Asphalt S/L & Wearing Course, 9.5mm, In Place; 3,939 Ton Asphalt Wearing Course, 9.5mm, In Place.

“This project shall be bid using the PA Prevailing Wage Rates”. Work shall be completed on or before 10/1/2026. After 10/1/26. Liquid Damages Apply at a rate of $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. For third class cities the bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. For other municipal types it is the discretion of the muncipality. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the succesful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
