1.1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Bids will be received by the AC Valley School District at the administrative offices at 776 PA 58, Foxburg, PA 16036 until 2:00 PM, prevailing time on April 13, 2026. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately thereafter.

Bids are for the following contract for work at AC Valley School District.

• PROJECT NO. 017-2026A Football Field Grading Revisions

The work shall be completed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Amos E. Rudolph, Architecture LLC, 3049 State Route 257, Seneca, PA 16346. The drawings will be available for review at the office of the Architect. Single copies of the Project Manual and Drawings may be obtained from the Architect for a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). A Fifteen Dollar ($15.00) mailing fee for postage and handling will be required for Contract Documents that are mailed.

Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 10% of the bid in accordance with the Instructions to the Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of the employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Bidders must provide evidence of previous experience for Athletic Field Construction and provide pre-qualifications as outlined in the project manual. No bidder may withdrawal his/her bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. No bidder is permitted to request documents after April 2, 2026 and the last day to ask questions or request interpretations is 10:00 AM on April 7, 2026.

A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for April 2, 2026, at the AC Valley School District, 776 PA 58, Foxburg, PA 16036. at 9:30 AM.

Bids shall be addressed to the AC Valley School District, 776 PA 58, Foxburg, PA 16036. The bid envelope must be SEALED and clearly marked “BID DOCUMENTS FOR PROJECT NO. 017-2026A – DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 2:00 PM ON April 13, 2026.”

The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bid.
