Marian Shirey went to Heaven to dance with her husband Ron on August 28, 2023. She was in the company of her Daughter Kimberly Burrell at the time.
Marian was born on October 19, 1940.
Marian is also survived by her son Todd Burrell and wife Deb. She has a maternal grandson Chase Burrell. She was the last of her siblings but was survived by several nieces and nephews. Marian had three stepdaughters from her marriage to Ron Shirey. They were Pam, Dawn and Vic, and several step-grandchildren.
During her close to 30-year marriage to her husband Ron, their home was a regular place where family friends, and their guests gathered on a daily basis. The household was always filled with children both relatives and non-relatives, it was a home filled with love and laughter.
Marian was best known for her excellent cooking and baking skills, pies being her specialty. There was always some kind of food and drink and conversation to be shared there.
Marian was also a gardener. She had a love for growing vegetables and fruit and had a well-stocked pantry with food from her canning season.
Marian also loved her flowers. She adorned both the outside of their home with flower beds and the inside with cut flowers grown by her. Momma, Rest In Peace.
