Michael Eric Amsler, 32, of Parker, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, September 4, 2026.
He was born on April 26, 1944, and is the son of DuWayne “Bud” and Paige Gamble Amsler, who survive. Mike was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, shooting, mowing, and yard work. He also enjoyed video gaming and working out. Mike was known for his spontaneous and adventurous spirit—whatever he set his mind to, he pursued with wholehearted enthusiasm and boundless energy, and went all in. Most of all, he loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Malina Nguyen, and their two children, Ashlyn and Sawyer Amsler. Brothers: Dustin (Erin) Amsler of Seneca, Bobby (Kalin) Amsler of Barkeyville, Billy (Emily) Amsler of Parker, Thomas (Jaelynn) Amsler of West Freedom, and Gary Amsler of Parker. His In-Laws, Tom and Jenny Nguyen. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home in Parker (201 S. Wayne Ave) on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 12 pm.
