Craving Fall Vibes? Come Out to the Perry Twp Fall Fest! Looking for something fun and with tons of FREE stuff to do on a Saturday? Whether you’re soaking in the last days of summer or ready to dive headfirst into fall, Perry Township Planning Committee has planned a day of fun for all ages at the Perry Twp Fall Fest! It will be held on September 20th starting at 10am at the West Freedom Ballfield (73 Collier Rd, Parker, PA 16049).
There will be a variety of vendors and food options available throughout the day. Come buy Chinese auction tickets to try to win one of over 50 items that have been graciously donated by local businesses and community members. Some big-ticket items include a cordless string Trimmer/leaf blower combo, 40v 16’ cordless lawn mower, 24v max cordless brushless drill/impact driver combo and hickory rocking chair. There will be a 50/50 to help raise money for next year’s fest.
Have kids?! A special guest, BLUEY, is coming to Fall Fest too. She will be there to see everyone from 11-noon, then 3-4pm. Don’t forget your phone/camera so you can take a picture with her. There will also be a bounce house, family “fun zone”, and tractor train rides that adults can ride (noon-4). ALL FOR FREE!!!
Pet lovers can bring their 4 legged family too!, The FREE weenie race has made a return with registration starting at 10 with races starting at 10:30. This year will include a “non-weenie” division and various, fun contests after the race. There will also be a pet vaccine clinic from 12:30-2. Shots are $15 for dog/cat “rabies”, $20 for “5 way”, and $20 for “Bordetella”. Meows and Manis will offer discounted nail trims, and Balanced Buddha will be on-site with adoptable cats. Before you leave, you can grab at treat at Wally’s Barking Bakery for your furry family members.
What screams fall vibes more than tractors? There will be a tractor show at the ballfield starting at 10. There will also be a tractor ride. You can also walk across to Park Hill Church of God to check out their car cruise (1-4).
If sitting and listening is more your jam, there will be two musical groups in the pavilion in the afternoon. “Special K” (a barbershop quartet-50’s, gospel, and county) will be playing at 1, followed by Parker’s own “The Weckerly’s” (Keith & Melissa-light rock, blues, and country) at 4. You can also come to win some money at the Perry Twp bingo at the firehall, which starts at 1.
And that’s just the beginning! There’s so much more to enjoy – we couldn’t possibly list it all here. Search “Perry Twp/Clarion County Fall Fest” on Facebook for full event details and updates. See you there!
