The Rimersburg Lions Club has several busy weeks ahead as it plans for its annual Halloween Parade and its third annual Veteran’s Day Blood Drive.
The Rimersburg Lion’s Halloween Parade is set for Thursday, October 30, 2025, with the parade scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and lineup of all parade participants to start at 5:00 p.m. in front of Heeter Lumber Company on Main Street in Rimersburg. The parade is scheduled in conjunction with Trick-or-Treat Night which will follow in Rimersburg Borough.
The parade will progress down Main Street to the Rimersburg Community Building where judging of the participants will take place.

All parade participants must select from one of the following categories to be judged in at the time of lineup: Union High School Band, floats/groups (consists of 2 or more people or groups), prettiest, ugliest/scariest, and most creative. Participants cannot be judged in more than one category.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the top three winning participants judged in each category with $30.00 for 1st prize, $20.00 for 2nd prize, and $10.00 for 3rd prize. All parade entries will be given a Halloween treat for their participation in the parade.

Lions Halloween Committee members include Lions Graham, Roger Crick, Jim Kifer, Sherri Nellis, and Rich Barger.
Also on tap, the Lions Club will be holding its 3rd Annual Veteran’s Day Blood Drive on Monday, November 10, 2025 , the day before Veteran’s Day due to scheduling conflicts at the donation site location.
