Roy Mahood

Roy Mahood, 69, of Parker, PA, passed away early Monday morning, April 7, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Grove City, PA, on January 1, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Geraldine Timco Mahood.

He was a graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School. In his younger years, Roy was very active and an avid hunter and fisherman. He especially loved trout fishing. His other hobbies included shooting pool at local pubs, collecting vintage models and race tracks, and owning several muscle cars, which awakened the town on the weekends. He had a special love for trucking and had driven for GardenScape for several years. He always took care of his mother.

He was loved and survived by his youngest brother, James "Jamie" Gamble, and wife, Shelly. Who he would have done anything for in his power, which never goes without appreciation. He loved to spend as much time as he could with his nieces, Arin Gamble Pollock (Josh) and Haylee Gamble Campbell. He loved to spend time with his great nieces Larkin Pollock, Lavender Pollock, and Penelope Campbell. He shared a special bond with his great-nephew Layton Pollock for fishing and hunting. He is also survived by his Daughter, Kami Snyder, with husband William Bud Snyder of Chicora, and also Laurie Mahood of Chicora.

He would want to extend thanks to his many caregivers over the years. Special thanks to Jeannie Chiappinni, Steve Saye for transportation and being a fishing buddy, and Ed Whyte for the countless things he has done over the years. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

Also, he had this addiction to all the Marvel movies. He watched all of them over and over for 7 years straight.
