Here is a close-up look at the new track and field at the A-C Valley High School. This baby blue surface is a really nice feature.

The Back to School Bash was held at the ACV HS in Foxburg on Aug. 20, 2026. It was an opportunity for the community and students to see the exciting improvements on the A-C Valley campus. The improvements included the renovations to the auditorium, the new track & field, and the football field playing surface.

Local restaurants and vendors were invited to setup food booths for the Back-to-School Bash. (Foxburg Pizza, Little It Deli, The Emlenton Coffee Haus)

Visitors were also introduced to the Junior High, JV and Varsity Falcon Knights football players, along with the cheerleaders, band, and many students involved at the high school.

The varsity football field, original to 1965, and never previously renovated, had significant issues including low spots, uneven terrain, and safety concerns. It has not hosted a varsity game since October 2021. Home games were played at Union H.S.

The track (last addressed in the 1990s) had cracked, hardened surfaces creating trip hazards and was no longer used for competition. Upgrades involved milling, installing a new base, resurfacing with new materials, adding an upgraded walkway, and dusk-to-dawn lighting.

Much more can be said about the auditorium renovations. Some key features include: new seats (500), new curtain system, floor tile removed & replaced, a podcast room/sound booth. A must see renovation.

It is hoped that the Back-To-School Bash, which was very well attended, will become an annual event.
