Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department Welcomes New Directors for 2024

The Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department is pleased to announce the appointment of its new directors for the year 2024. The distinguished individuals taking on leadership roles within the department were officially introduced at a ceremony held on [date]. These leaders will play a crucial role in upholding the department’s commitment to enforcing the law, preventing and controlling crime, maintaining peace and order, and ensuring the safety and security of the community.


The Honorable Judge Jeffery Miller swore in Mayor of New Bethlehem, the Rev. Dr. Gordon Barrows as President of the Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department.

 

The Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department extends its gratitude to Chief of Police Robert Malnofsky, who continues to lead the dedicated team in the pursuit of justice and community safety.

In addition to the department’s core activities, the SCCRPD collaborates with the Southern Clarion Police Association (SCPA), a nonprofit charitable organization.

Through fundraisers, grants, and donations, the SCPA contributes funds for vehicle loan payments and aids in the purchase of vests, AEDs, body cameras, and other essential equipment for officer and public safety. The funds raised and contributed by the SCPA alleviate the financial burden on member boroughs in the SCCRPD, thereby saving taxpayer dollars.
