With a flair for the wild and unexpected, the high energy and genre-smashing TAKE3 Trio is back by popular demand on Sunday, December 7 at 2:00 PM to dazzle ARCA’s Lincoln Hall audience in storybook, holiday-glittering Foxburg.
TAKE3 thrives at the intersection where art and pop culture collide. Trained at the world’s top conservatories, TAKE3 has expanded their repertoire from Bach and Beethoven to John Williams, Leonard Cohen, Bieber and The Beach Boys – and Willie Nelson, Beyonce, Abba and Elvis! And yet – in equally sensitive in moments of tender musical beauty, their arrangements of Leonard Cohen’s “Alleluia” and “Amazing Grace” will be emotionally moving.
Having been Yanni’s featured violin soloist and toured most of the 7 continents, Lindsay Deutsch and fellow artists will bring ARCA’s holiday audience the refinement of their rigorous classical music backgrounds infused with rock star-power in a program of Christmas classics from their popular Christmas CD.
From “O Holy Night”, “Ave Maria” and “Silent Night” to a “Nutcracker Medley”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” in their Christmas portion of the program - PLUS ”Unchained Melody”, “Amazing Grace”, “What a Wonderful World”, and their exquisite arrangement of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and Orange Blossom Special, it’s going to be an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment and holiday cheer!
The trio is nothing short of exhilarating, described as a mini–Trans Siberian Orchestra experience, performing across the US and abroad in performing arts centers, symphony halls and venues with over 50 concerts in the 25/26 season. They electrify audiences with their unmistakable style and infectious joy, performing top Pop hits, Oldies, Americana, and their signature classical mashups.
