The 10th Annual Holiday for Heroes Set for November 8th

The 10th Annual Holiday for Heroes hosted by Hero’s Angels will be held this year on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The event will be held at the Petrolia Social Hall, 200 Argyle Street in Petrolia.

The fundraiser will be held from 12 pm to 5 pm. Doors will open at 11:30 am with the opening ceremony being held at noon.

Bring a bag of Jerky for the deployed troops and be entered to win a $100, 1 entry per bag.

Funds raised for this event will help provide care packages for troops and helps support local veterans.

The fundraiser will feature a stuffed chicken breast dinner and American auction, 50/50, reverse raffles and more.

Veterans who register at the event will receive a free meal, event apparel and more while supplies last.

A free veterans drawing will be held every hour from 1 pm to 5 pm with cash prizes. Three winners will be pulled every hour.

New this year will feature a Veteran’s Utility Bill Giveaway. Veterans who bring in a utility bill in their name/address will be entered to have $250 paid on your account. Multiple winners will be drawn every hour. Must present and show ID at the time of the drawing to claim the prize.

A special appearance will be made by Santa from 2 pm to 4 pm.
