Union High School Class of 2026 Announces Valedictorian and Salutatorian

The Union High School Class of 2026 recently announced their Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
The Valedictorian is Donovan Buzard. Donovan is the son of Dawn Radaker of Sligo.
Donovon’s school activities include: Vice President of NHS, Treasurer of Physics Club, Vice President of Travel Club, President of Student Council, President of Outdoors Club and participated in Bots IQ.
Donovan was active in the community having worked several blood drives and service projects through the National Honor Society, placed flags on graves for a few years at the Sligo cemetery, helped organize and run our school’s Veterans’ Assembly for a few years with the Student Council, and helped at the Butterfly Release Ceremony through the VNA for the last few years.
Donovan’s future plans are to attend Penn State Behrend in Erie and attain a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, and later pursue a job in Electrical Engineering and go whereever life takes him.
The Salutatorian for the Union High School Class of 2026 is Brianna Anthony. Brianna is the daughter of Ellena and James Anthony of Rimersburg.
While at Union High, Brianna was President of the National Honor Society, President of Prom Committee, Vice President of Sports Club, President of the Senior Class. Member of the Volleyball and Softball teams.
In the community, Brianna participated in blood drives for the American Red Cross and participated in events such as Read Across America, Prom Fashion Shows and other volunteer work.
Brianna also worked at Applebees in Clarion.
Brianna’s future plans are to attend Penn West Clarion for Nursing with plans to go on and become a Physician’s Assistant.
The Union High School Class of 2026 held their graduation on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the high school. Both, Donovon and Brianna gave commencement speeches and the guest speaker was Lance Cicciarelli.
