Union High School Students & Rimersburg Lions Blood Drive

The Rimersburg Lions Club is teaming up once again with the American Red Cross and students of Union High School’s National  Honor Society to sponsor a major blood drive on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from noon to 5:00 p.m. in the auxiliary gym of Union High  School, located at 354 Baker Street in Rimersburg.  

The American Red Cross recommends appointments be made to facilitate an efficient, even flow of donors for the blood drive by visiting  www.redcrossblood.org and entering ‘16248’ or by calling the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767.  

Half of allotted times slots for the blood drive have already been reserved by donors, according to officials of the Rimersburg Lions Club, so any potential donors are alerted to sign up now before most of the schedule for the day is filled. 

The Rimersburg Lions Club will soon be announcing several monetary incentives for donors who give blood for the drive also. 

The American Red Cross will also be awarding a college scholarship to a Union High School senior with the amount dependent on the total number of successful donations obtained at blood drives held at the high school during this school year.  

This will be the last blood drive held by the Rimersburg Lions Club until this November.
