2026 Camp Cadet Program - Taking Applications

The Pennsylvania State Police Troop C has opened applications for the 2026 Camp Cadet program, scheduled for July 26-31st at PennWest Clarion. The week long residential camp is available to boys and girls ages 13 - 15 from Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, McKean and northern Indiana counties.

Camp Cadet exposes youth to law enforcement, teamwork, discipline and physical training similar to that used at the PSP Academy.

Activities will include demonstrations from PA State Police Specialty Units, FBI, U.S. Secret Service, fire departments and more.

The fee is $20 and can be obtained by contacting Trooper Ron Chewning at 814-938-0521.

Note: Anyone from the A-C Valley School District that is interested in this opportunity and lives in Clarion County can obtain an application from the Boys & Girls Club Along The Allegheny by calling Brad at 724-332-9604. The Boys & Girls Club will pay for you to attend.
